With floor to ceiling glass and a smart, modern decor the cafe offers a relaxed and fresh atmosphere overlooking the airport and dunes beyond. On colder days you can sit in plush leather seating by the warm gas fires.
Run by Tracy and Elaine, the cafe is open 7 days a week providing breakfast, brunch and snack options together with espresso coffee, teas and a wide range of cold drinks.
Most of the food served is prepared on site, including the bacon and egg slice, quiches and salads, as well as the great range of cakes and slices. Don't worry about your special diet needs either, as Tracy and Elaine offer a great range of Gluten Free and Vegetarian options. The cafe is also developing a new range of diabetic friendly cakes as well.
For travellers heading away (or just arriving!) there is also a great breakfast featuring the works, and options of your eggs poached, scrambled or fried. This big meal is super value at just $18.50 which also includes a copy of the Dominion Post and your choice of coffee or tea.
Alternatively just tell the team what you would like to eat and they will cook it for you. They also have a wide range of hot and cold drinks. From their great soup to the finest Havoc Coffee, everything is made to please.
If you are travelling onward, remember to ask for your coffee or soup to go as you can take it onboard with you.
So call out to the airport and see what is on offer. You can expect fantastic service from this fantastic team.
South Beach Cafe can also provide catering for groups and events as needed too. Just give the team a call to discuss your specific needs.
Landing and car parking fees can be paid at the Cafe
