Light Aircraft Maintenance

Ravensdown Aerowork national office, engineering and truck servicing facilities are based at the Whanganui Airport. The maintenance and manufacture of components for the 14 agricultural aircraft and a Cessna 185 who are spread across the country is completed on site by an experienced crew of aircraft engineers. Aerowork also have a fleet of 39 heavy vehicles that are spread throughout the country and the maintenance of these vehicles is also facilitated from the Whanganui airport.

The central location of Whanganui Airport and the potential for development makes Whanganui an ideal location as a repair, maintenance and possibly component manufacturing hub for light recreational and commercial aviation.
